What is Hushassistant?
Hushassistant is the integrated touchscreen control system for Hushfree acoustic pods from Hushoffice.
The compact, high-resolution touchscreen sits inside the pod and gives users control over key environmental settings, including:
Lighting brightness
Lighting colour temperature
Ventilation and airflow
Preset lighting modes
Pod availability and booking features
Timers and other useful workplace tools
Rather than having fixed lighting and ventilation settings, Hushassistant lets each person adjust the environment to suit how they are using the pod.

Personalised lighting at your fingertips

Hushfree lighting can be adjusted across a colour temperature range of approximately 2200K to 6500K, allowing users to choose between warmer and cooler tones depending on their preference and task. Hushfree models are also designed to provide approximately 500 lux at desk level.
Hushassistant includes preset lighting modes that make it easy to change the environment without manually adjusting every setting. If these presets don't suit you, you're able to manually adjust each function to your liking.
Focus Mode
6500K at approximately 90% brightness
Focus Mode uses a cool, bright light setting designed for tasks requiring concentrated attention, such as detailed computer work, reading or reviewing documents.
Relax Mode
2800K at approximately 70% brightness
Relax Mode uses a warmer, dimmer setting, providing a softer environment when taking a break or stepping away from more demanding work.
Automatic Mode
2700–6500K and 50–100% brightness
Automatic Mode adjusts the colour temperature and brightness throughout the day according to a circadian-based lighting pattern.
This provides a more hands-off option for users who would rather let the lighting change automatically than adjust it themselves.
Video Call Mode
On compatible Hushfree models, Video Call Mode uses additional lighting to help illuminate the user's face during online meetings.
For Hushfree S, the dedicated side lighting uses a 4000K colour temperature, helping provide more even illumination for video calls.
Users can also manually adjust the lighting rather than relying on the preset modes, giving them more control over the brightness and colour temperature of their workspace.
Control the airflow
Hushassistant also provides control over the pod's ventilation.
Users can adjust the fan speed directly through the touchscreen, allowing airflow to be increased or reduced depending on the situation.
Hushfree pods use motion-activated ventilation systems, while Hushassistant provides an additional interface for adjusting the airflow settings on compatible configurations.
